In this session, Emanuele Bevacqua (Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research - UFZ, Germany) will present recent insights into how multiple climate drivers combine to produce high-impact compound events, highlighting observed trends, the influence of human-induced climate change, record-breaking extremes, and key physical drivers and uncertainties.
