Conference Jul 2024

We have the permission of APN and VAST for organizing our final conference of our DESPCA-APN project.

Title: "Water environment in large cities in Asia: pollution statement and one health"
Date:  17 - 20 July 2024
Location: at INPC building, Hanoi.

Participants from different universities and institutes of 6 countries.

One physical conference titled “Water environment in large cities in Asia: pollution statement and one health” was held at INPC, Hanoi, Vietnam. More than 60 multi-discipline scientists, including project scientists from the main research teams, invited scientists and observers from different countries such as Vietnam, Bangladesh, China, Thailand, Korea and Cambodia have attended the conference.

To achieve the scientific goals and produce the expected outcomes of the project, the conference firstly informed to the attendances the objectives, main activities and expected present outputs of the project. And then, more than 30 presentations of the invited scientists concerning the topic of the project were introduced. Finally, the conference discussed participants the future cooperation and next activities to fulfil the scope of the project and its objectives, focussing on the main issues:

  • Completing dataset of water quality
  • Preparation for uploading project website
  • Preparation for final scientific reports
  • Next publications:

+ A manuscript for APN Science Bulletin (Obligatory)

+ Other manuscripts for peer-reviewed journals
